Intervention
Der Fassadenschmuck des Kaiserhauses umfasst Figuren, die das assyrisch-babylonische, das persische, das griechische und das römische Weltreich symbolisieren. Auf die historische Fassade projiziert Patrcia K. Triki farbmanipulierte Fotografien zeitgenössischer Stadtansichten von Tunis. Es entsteht eine konstruktive Interferenz, die historische und zeitgenössischen Bildinhalte und Sinnbilder mischt.

Intervention
The facade of the Kaiserhaus presents figures, which symbolize the Assyro-Babylonian, the Persian, the Greek and the Roman world empires. Patricia K. Triki projects color-manipulated photogaphs showing contemporary Tunis onto the historic facade. This results in a constructive interference, mixing historic and contemporary contents and symbols.
